PRESCHOOL
Capital Day School’s Preschool Program is a licensed Type I Child Care Center offering preschool classes and extended day services for three- and four-year-old children. All preschool classes meet five days a week from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and are designed to provide a comfortable and creative atmosphere for learning.
LOWER SCHOOL
The lower school has a tradition of strong academics with educationally sound teaching methods for boys and girls in kindergarten through grade four. A caring, dedicated faculty provides a safe family-type environment which prepares children for a successful educational experience.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Capital Day School’s middle school offers a challenging academic atmosphere that stimulates intellectual curiosity and encourages excellence. In a variety of learning settings, an exceptional faculty is committed to helping students reach their potential by encouraging them to develop critical thinking skills and form habits that prepare them to meet the demands of a college preparatory high school curriculum.

Since 1955, Capital Day School has offered private school education with smaller class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios. Through an enriched traditional curriculum that includes classes such as art, music, and physical education for students three-years-old through the eighth grade, we provide the type of education that every child deserves.
