P.M. Preschool, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

Preschool children remain in the Superkids Building to have lunch, nap or rest, and are offered the opportunity to practice learned skills and concepts. During this time, students play games, work puzzles, engage in table work, play outdoors, and interact with the teachers. A snack is served daily.

Preschool Extended Day, 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

 

The second option offered to preschool children is Extended Day, which is offered from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for students who remain after regular school hours.

Lower School Extended Day, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

Students in grade one through four meet in the multipurpose room for an opportunity to do homework and participate in indoor/outdoor free play, along with various guided activities. A snack is served daily. Students who have not been picked up by 5:00 p.m. will go to the Superkids Building and will be charged an extra fee.

Middle School Study Hall, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

Students in grades five through eight meet in the science room for supervised study hall which provides opportunity for students to complete homework.  A snack is served daily. Students who have not been picked up by 5:00 p.m. will go to the Superkids Building and will be charged an extra fee.

Extended Day Care and Study Hall

 

For students three-years-old through eighth grade, Capital Day School provides options for those who need to stay beyond normal dismissal times.
